Happy Wedding Wednesday, fellow flower-lovers! Last week, we traveled to Fallon's Flowers in Raleigh for a styled wedding shoot. We asked our fantastic wedding designer, Diane, to find inspiration for wedding centerpieces in the styles of five different containers. She started with the same base greens and flowers for each of these arrangements, but then molded them to reflect the personality of the container itself. The results were nothing short of magical.
5 centerpieces designed to match the style of the vase | Blooms 'N Banter
Style #1: Elegant and refined, with a touch of whimsy
This pewter urn, courtesy of Table of Contents, sports a sophisticated silhouette that lends itself to wild and romantic blooms. Diane built the base with white hydrangeas, variegated pitt, and seeded eucalyptus and then expanded up and out with ranunculus and veronica.  The result is an elegant centerpiece that's sure to impress wedding guests.

Style #2: Full-on boho chic
This stunning gold compote (designed by Accent Decor) seemed to shout for a major boho moment. Here again, Diane started with seeded eucalyptus and white hydrangea - but what a difference add-ons can make! Vibrant coral dahlias, succulents, anemones, spiraled eucalyptus, peach ranunculus, and veronica elevated the already beautiful container to a whole new level of swoon-worthy bohemian beauty.

Style #3: Modern and edgy
This concrete box container makes a powerful statement all on its own. Trendsetting, modern, forward-thinking, it's the perfect building block (get it?!) for a centerpiece like no other.  Again, its foundation consists of the same white hydrangea and eucalyptus. Diane then added blue thistle (we're in love), succulents, dahlias, anemones, and larkspur. The result: a towering, awe-inspiring work of art.

Style #4: Refined metallics
Copper is enjoying a major comeback moment right now - and we're all climbing right on board that beautiful-hued bandwagon. This bowl lends itself to a low-lying centerpiece that reaches out horizontally. Once again, this design finds its footing in variegated pitt and white hydrangeas, but develops a personality of its own with the addition of dusty miller, roses, dahlias, veronica, lisianthus, stock, and blue thistle. There's even some long-lasting alstroemeria thrown in there for good measure! We could gaze at this dramatic piece for hours.

Style #5: Classic formality with a twist
This silver urn sets the tone with its imposing presence. It simply refuses be ignored. The goal with this centerpiece was to design something that could balance out the formality of the container with fresh, billowy softness. Hanging amaranthus to the rescue! These cascading buds, combined with lush greens, ranunculus, dianthus, and seeded eucalyptus create a beautiful aesthetic that is simultaneously organic and slightly traditional.

Talk about some major wedding inspiration! We'll be admiring these over-the-top designs for years to come. What other centerpiece styles would you like to see? Let us know, and we'll make sure to feature a whole new round during our next styled shoot.

Until then, flower-lovers, happy hump day!
